About Mine Safety
MSA Safety Inc makes safety products that are used to protect workers in the oil and gas and mining industries. The company's product offerings include breathing apparatuses, fall protection, portable gas detection systems, industrial head protection, fire and rescue helmets, and fixed gas and flame detection systems, among others. The end markets for its products include the fire service, contractor, industrial, mining, oil and gas, and utilities industries. The company has organized its business into four geographical operating segments that are aggregated into two reportable segments: Americas and International. The majority of its revenue is generated from the Americas segment, which is comprised of the company's operations in Northern North America and Latin America geographies.

Daily bars, quotes, reference data, headlines, and short interest come from Massive, formerly Polygon, a licensed market data vendor. The age of the quotes is shown at the top of every page. Insider trades, notable holders and profits come straight from the SEC. That means Form 4 filings, 13F filings and XBRL financial data on EDGAR. Government filings come from the public STOCK Act and Office of Government Ethics disclosures. The market-wide headlines on the market line also come from the public headline feeds CNBC, MarketWatch and Yahoo Finance publish, shown as the headline, the source and a link to the article. Splits, dividends, and the financial statements on each ticker page come from the vendor's reference data. The 8-K filings on EDGAR are read for the items that move a price. Five years of history is loaded for every stock. So the 200-day and 52-week checks rest on real history. Options flow is not part of the product.
