What's next for AARD, and how long its cash lasts

From Aardvark Therapeutics’s SEC filings and ClinicalTrials.gov: the company’s own words, the registry’s dates, and arithmetic, not a forecast. Companies often miss their own dates.

Cash runway Jun 30 balance sheet

About 4 quarters

$73.9M in cash and short-term investments, at its spending over the last year

What it means: how long the cash would last at the same pace, before any new money. The company's own estimate is “into late 2027” (8-K, Aug 11).

For Pro members: the cash used each quarter, and the math.

Dilution on the horizon

  • Shelf registration (S-3, filed Mar 23, 2026)
  • At-the-market share sales program (424B5, filed Apr 3, 2026)

A shelf lets a company sell shares later; an at-the-market program sells them into the market over time. Neither is a sale by itself.

For Pro members: 2 raises and their amounts, and the share count against a year ago.

Insiders

CFO Nelson Sun sold 76,754 shares on Sep 11, under a planned sale.

From their own Form 4 filings: buys and sales in the market, not awards or shares withheld for tax.

For Pro members: every trade, and Tien-Li Lee’s 21 filings and quotes.

Why AARD isn't scored

The Quality Score reads US-listed stocks worth $50M or more that trade at $1 or more and 300,000 shares a day. AARD trades about 134,000 shares a day. A stock that clears every mark is scored from the next weekly rebuild.

Straight Answers

Are the prices delayed?

Only on the public pages, which run at least 15 minutes behind. Pro members, and anyone on a guest pass, see real-time prices: the scanner refreshes every 15 seconds, and your watchlist every few seconds, pre-market and after hours included.

Where does the data come from?

Daily bars, quotes, reference data, headlines, and short interest come from Massive, formerly Polygon, a licensed market data vendor. The age of the quotes is shown at the top of every page. Insider trades, notable holders, and profits come straight from the SEC. That means Form 4 filings, 13F filings, and XBRL financial data on EDGAR. Where a company's SEC figures leave the Quality Score's sales, share count, or cash flow line empty, the score reads that figure from Massive's statements, and the Score tab says so. A foreign company that files its quarters on Form 6-K has them read from those filings' own statements, every figure as the filing prints it. Government filings come from the public STOCK Act and Office of Government Ethics disclosures. The market-wide headlines on the market line also come from the public headline feeds CNBC, MarketWatch, and Yahoo Finance publish, shown as the headline, the source, and a link to the article. Splits, dividends, and the financial statements on each ticker page come from the vendor's reference data. The 8-K filings on EDGAR are read for the items that move a price. Five years of history is loaded for every stock. So the 200-day and 52-week checks rest on real history. Options flow is not part of the product.

Is this investment advice?

No. It is a screening tool that scores stocks on the chart, the company's own results, and the news and filings. It does not know your situation and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Please do your own research.
